Joseph Cario

Biltmore Who’s Who Selects Joseph Cario as this week’s Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2012.

Joseph Cario, Independent Property/Construction and Operations Manager, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who’s Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Joseph Cario’s commitment to excellence in Real Estate.

Cario, who has studied both commercial and residential electrical at Bloomfield Vocation and Technical School, and heating/cooling and controls at Lincoln Tech Institute, also obtained a Universal refrigerant transition recovery certification from Ferris State University.

Beginning his career working for Prudential Insurance Company in the building maintenance division, Cario later became involved in commercial office real estate as an operations manager and later as a lead engineer for a major commercial office developer.  Through hard work, dedication and motivation, Cario advanced into a property manager/construction manager position.  He has worked for multiple commercial owners and developers throughout his career, including a major Real Estate Investment Trust Company.  His portfolio has consisted of anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 million square feet of commercial office, retail and industrial buildings.

 “When I first began my career,” Cario explained, “I developed a strong passion and desire to blend my skills and experience in an industry where I’d be able to contribute to a company’s success.  I am a strong believer that one should always look to exceed their own expectations in any capacity, which in my case, lead to a successful career.”

Hoping to continue serving his patrons in the real estate industry as a property manager/construction manager in commercial office environments where he can continue providing and implementing his skills and experience, Cario credits carrying providing a quality approach to customer service as extremely important in ascertaining tenant satisfaction, as well as tenant retention.

Cario is the recipient of numerous achievement awards during his tenure with a major REIT, including an Imaginatarian Award, Bump the Lamp and Rising Star Award.  When Cario isn’t busy working, he enjoys going to Broadway musicals, playing guitar and performing live several times per year, collecting Beatle memorabilia and watching sports.

Jamie Lynn Jones

Biltmore Who’s Who Selects Jamie Lynn Jones as this week’s Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2012.

Jamie Lynn Jones, President of Mojave Marketing, Inc., has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who’s Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Jamie Lynn Jones’s commitment to excellence in Marketing and Promotions.

Jones, who holds a BA in Broadcast Journalism from Ball State University, began working for her current company in August of 2008 in Denver, Colorado before becoming incorporated in Las Vegas.

As president, Jones recruits people looking to work in Las Vegas.  She conducts first round interviews and hires qualified candidates.  She also trains them on in-store marketing and lead generation for The Home Depot.  Her goal is to train people from entry level and to promote them within nine months into a management position.

“In the few short years that I been a part of my company I have watched many people start in entry level positions and open up and run successful marketing divisions in as little as five to nine months,” Jones explained.  “It inspires me to plow through the many difficulties that come with daily life so I can grow with my business.”

In 2009, Jones was one of the top money earning sales representatives and earned the opportunity to speak at a national convention.  She aspires to continue down that road through motivation until retirement, which she hopes to do by the age of forty.

James M. Augello, Jr.

Biltmore Who’s Who Selects James M. Augello, Jr. as this week’s Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2012.

James M. Augello, Chief Operating Officer at Siemens Energy, Inc., has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who’s Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes James M. Augello, Jr.’s commitment to excellence in Engineering.

Augello, who entered into the International Union of Operating Engineers in 2002, was the first step of beginning his four year apprenticeship.  He is a PJM Certified Transmission System Operator, is North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Certified, and is a licensed First Class Stationary and Refrigeration New Jersey Gold Seal Chief Engineer.

In his current role, Augello supervises the day to day activities of four PJM and NERC certified transmission system operators at the 660Mw transmission station, which is owned by Neptune Regional Transmission System (RTS).  In addition, he tracks the budget by assigning Work Booking Structure numbers to all maintenance activities, conducts monthly safety incidents, handles all operations and maintenance scheduling and reporting, maintains system reliability through IMaint Enterprise Asset Management daily work order system, performs all high voltage Alternating Current and High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission yard and associated equipment outage maintenance and serves as the Neptune-RTS PJM training liaison.

Although his father passed away before he was able to make him proud of his professional successes, Augello’s father continues to be the driving force behind his passion to do good work, strive to be the best in his field and to continue to set his goals high. 

“If someone or something presents a mental challenge to me, I will make it my mission to overcome and triumph no matter how many years it may take,” Augello said.  “The words failure and defeat are not in my vocabulary where my career is concerned.”

Hoping to learn more about HVDC technology, Augello will have to study and become more hands-on to the highly complicated process of the alternating current rectification to direct current, then the conversion back to alternating current process.  This is the new way power transmission will be done in the United States in the coming years, which has become a staple in Europe.

Augello is a member of International Union of Operating Engineers.  When he isn’t busy working, he enjoys computers, hockey and baseball.

Dorothy Jean McPhaul

Biltmore Who’s Who Selects Dorothy Jean McPhaul as this week’s Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2012.

Dorothy Jean McPhaul, Owner of Johnnie’s Antiques, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who’s Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Dorothy Jean McPhaul’s commitment to excellence in Retail and Antiques.

McPhaul, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from Prairie View A&M University, taught for thirty-eight years in LaGrange, Texas before hanging up her hat to take over her fourth generation family antique shop.

Johnnie’s Antiques, which was founded by McPhaul’s grandfather eighty-two years ago, has been a staple in Austin for as long as many can remember. Having operated the business since 1994, she serves as secretary, market researcher, business development consultant, manager and owner of the shop and also hosts antique shows throughout the year.  With collections that appeal to all ages, this antique store has something for everyone, including jewelry, pottery, glass, Tiffany, porcelain, ceramics, toys, dolls and more.

“My goal is not just simply to meet our customers’ needs, but to exceed all expectations by providing them with high quality collectables, competitive prices, and be a trusted advisor, if needed,” McPhaul said.

McPhaul is a member of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church and Delta Sigma Theta.  When Dorothy isn’t busy working, she enjoys cooking, reading and traveling.
